“Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare.”
Japanese proverb
If you have a vision of what you want to achieve, it’s essential to create an action plan of how and when you’re going to do it. This is the time to set specific goals, assign timelines and watch as quantifiable results begin to manifest.
You’ll break down each action item into manageable tasks, to guard against overwhelm. And when you meet each of your own self-imposed deadlines, plan to give yourself a special reward. This will help you follow through and stay committed.
You’ll experience an incredible sense of relief and accomplishment when you complete your fearless action plan. It’s kind of like building a dream home, from the first blueprint right up to moving day. A detailed plan turns into a phenomenal reality. There’s no more wondering, “How can I possibly do this?”
What’s Fear Got To Do With It?
It may be intimidating to see a roadmap that literally leads you to your desired goal, and to see your goals and dreams actually taking shape in the “real world”.
This task can also be challenging to those who aren’t particularly detail-oriented or organized. That is a great opportunity to call in for reinforcements; look for a life coach, trusted friend or family member who does have those qualities.
You may notice fear and resistance pushing back against you as you try to get into action. This is a pivotal stage in your quest for success, and having a strong supporter can make a big difference.
Get Into Fearless Action
Brainstorm a list of things you’ll need to do in order to manifest your dream. Now choose one, and break it down into small action steps that you can take in 30 minutes or less. Next, select one to start with.
Finally, commit to one other person exactly when you’ll take that 30-minute action, and follow up with them after you’ve done it. Don’t forget your reward!
Congratulations on bringing your daydream into reality!

Everyone needs a plan.
But usually you encounter self-resistence to taking action and forming new habits. Here is useful to set up conditions that will force you to follow through, like in your example having an accountability partner, or making changes into your environment that are more suitable for the new results you want, etc.
