It's amazing what a little personal not will do for someone. TO give an example, I had someone call me about a job that I wasn't really interested in. But they took the time to send me a handwritten note thanking me anyway. THat is so rare these days that it made an impression. Guess who will be the first person I call when I am looking for something? Great idea, especially since we are all sending them anyway.
