Create a Vision Board or How I Attracted an iPhone

For the uninitiated, a vision board is a poster with images of what you want to have, do and be in your life. The idea behind this is the same as putting your goals, tasks and intentions in a place where you see them everyday; you make it easier to attract these things into your life.

Getting the Most out of Life

What happens when a sense of dissonance is ignored? More likely than not, it will result in a life filled with regret and bitterness. You deserve better: you deserve to get the most out of life.

When is Someday?

Show me Someday on the calendar.
Point it out to me in your daytimer. How long is a month of Somedays? Even blue moons happen once in a while (second full moon in a month), but Someday? The closest day to Someday is Never.

How Gratitude Can Change Your Life

What all these traditions may or may not have known is that recent scientific studies point to a direct link between gratitude and a deep satisfaction with life. 1. I agree that a key to self management is self esteem. I would offer that true life inspiration happens when you find something you love to do and make it a part of your everyday experience. Here’s an exercise:

    1. Write down 10 things you love to do or that bring you the most joy. I call this the “You List”

    2. Then record how many times a day you do one of the things on your list

    3. Give each day of the week a rating from 1-10

    4. Your best day usually comes out to be the day you do the most things on your “You List”

I can easily relate to the first part of the story, in the past I was one of those people pretending you have done something and then be very uncomfortable when someone asks more detailed questions.
It is not a good feeling and being upfront from the beginning really saves you the embarassment later.
