Happy 2nd Anniversary Life Coaches Blog

Wed, Oct 17, 2007

General

2 years ago, I started Life Coaches Blog with nothing more than a vague dream to make a difference, communicate and hopefully have it make enough to pay for itself. Now, 2 years on, we have more than 600 posts, 9rules membership and more mentions on Lifehacker than I could have hoped for.

There were times when I thought I would throw in the towel. Instead, I just took breaks and kept plugging when I got back. I’m glad I did, although I didn’t do it alone. I had a core group of great friends who kept encouraging me to do what I did - they were my life coaches and they kicked my ass when they needed to.

2 years on, I’ve realized: blogging is hard work! There has to be a bigger reason than cold hard cash to keep you going and that’s passion for what you’re writing about. I’m blessed that I love both writing and personal growth, and Life Coaches Blog is a wonderful vehicle for me to express and share that.

Thanks to everyone who’s encouraged, supported and contributed to the growth of Life Coaches Blog in some way. This includes, and isn’t limited to; Junming, Dom, Jason, Brenda, Yezhong, Elona, Senia, Dave Seah, Matthew Cornell, Bernadette, Jeslyn and many others. Forgive me if I’ve forgotten to mention you, you know who you are :)

Here’s to an even better and bigger next 2 years.

Happy 2nd Anniversary
