Just last week, I made the biggest donation ever from Life Coaches Blog to a charity organization since I made the 80/20 Donation Pledge.
Honestly speaking, it felt a little painful, but it also felt pretty damn good to give to a cause I believed in and know that money was going to help make this a better world.
In case you hadn’t noticed on Life Coaches Blog’s main page, I’ve adopted Conservation International as our charity of choice. The reason why is hunger and environmental issues are two causes I deeply believe in - chiefly because hunger is a solvable problem and without the environment we have nothing.
Because I already give to Mercy Corps’ Heroes Against Hunger program, Conservation International was the next obvious choice.
Below is the screen-grab of the donation receipt, I’ve whited out the donation amount for privacy and modesty reasons

Hunger and environment… two causes I think anyone can feel good contributing to. Next time I hold a donation contest, I will consider this to be one of the organizations.
I think your 20% donation model is very generous. Thanks Alvin!
