IF and only by Choice.

General

The year is coming to a close. While it has been a a year where not much has been acheived, win some lose some they say…. It has neverthelessly been a year of many spiritual and emotional lessons and growth for me.

I have gone on a hiatus in search of my own voice and identity as a People-Helper. My absence from this platform is by choice. I was not sure if I could say and mean the things I wrote here….after reading them again: I know I can.

The only reason I started writing and will go on with a regular contribution from now on is simple: I just wanna share. So what if these other people’s ability to write fill me with awe!! People in my immediate circle like Alvin (who owns this blog by the way), Kloudiia and Rachit writes really really well! Yes people I am very impressed!!

So I am back (without a vengence haha)…bad writing and all!! Crazy ideas nonwithstanding…for all you idiots who roll your eyes and sigh….you don’t have the permission to make me choose to feel bad!!!

Ha!! AND a tribute to all the readers here who will join me in a prayer to give Alvin inner peace and clear insight to get past his tough patch:

    If

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream – and not make dreams your master;
If you can think – and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build ‘em up with wornout tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on”;

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings – nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run –
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And – which is more – you’ll be a Man my son!

-Kipling-

Happy 2007 People!! IF and only by Choice, there is a better way, take it for it’s yours.

    Big man Pete!

    Everyone who knows you is so glad that you’re back sharing on this blog :D

    If someone asked me a year ago, what I really wanted from life … I would’ve answered – A million dollars.

    If you ask me today, my answer has changed. All I want is a fun & happy “today”.

    The the reason it’s all changed is YOU my man … watching you be jolly … and subconsciously modeling your view on life … has made me happy :D

    I hope you keep talking on this blog and change more lives bro.

    Happy new year everyone!

    Much long-awaited decision for you to make this choice Mr Pete. :)

    Can’t wait to hear what you’ve got to say in this little yet enriched space (lots of kudos to Alvin I must say which I’m sure you’ll agree) going to get richer soon with your contribution.

    Happy New Year to all you guys at LCB!

    Let’s keep going for 2007!

    Thanks guys for the vote of confidence!

    Rachit, maybe I can set you to think unconsciously about being happily on the way to getting to that million dollar. I feel 2007 is about discovering what synergy the bunch of us can have and exploring ways of exploiting possible collaborations.

    How about some humour and laughter, NLP hype-notti-curly?

    Kloudy, your “little” baby is bursting with great stuff too. I’m looking forward to you dishing out new recipes for love and reminding us of old wisdom too.

    Cheers!!
