At Life Coaches Blog, It’s A Whole Lot Easier To Say What You Want Now
Silently behind the scenes (unless you were visiting yesterday when it happened), Life Coaches Blog underwent a total change, finally upgrading from the old Wordpress 1.5 to the latest version 2.0.4.
You won’t see a lot of changes upfront, except that now, I’ve removed the anti-spam code thingy you’ve had to struggle with to post a comment, and leaving your thoughts should now be much easier (sorry it took so long, Matt! I remember you giving me feedback about that looong ago); just type in what you want to say, fill in the fields, and viola!
So now, whenever you find a post thought-provoking, useful, or leaving you with a question, do take a few seconds and write down your thoughts. You’ll gain further clarity by having to string your thoughts together, and I get some valuable feedback on how I’m doing.
All your comments have been dear to me, they keep me on track, and because a lot of times you guys are very kind, they also encourage me to keep going.
Hi Mom, I’m On TV!
If you’re Singaporean and you watch Channel U, you might have caught glimpses of me on a commercial for the upcoming episode of Project Y. I work for the company that makes Project Y, and during one of the episodes my boss asked me if I’d be the extra, and lie down to get a free facial treatment. Of course!
And of course, I’m greedy too. I not only accepted to get a free facial treatment, but also to push my personal growth and stretch myself. What would it be like on camera? Speaking in Mandarin (my Mandarin sucks, as all my friends would tell you)?
All in all, it was a good experience, and I had a good time doing it, and a cleaner face afterwards. I did stumble a bit, being a little nervous at first, but it was a nice stretch, and luckily the director decided not to use any of my speaking scenes or the whole of Singapore would have to watch me mangle my Mandarin.
It’s airing tomorrow (Tuesday, 12 September) on Channel U at 9:30pm, if you’re in Singapore and watch the telly, I’ll be on.

Thanks guys! Well, the TV appearance came and went, and it turned out it wasn’t a whole lot really. Still, it was interesting seeing myself on television…surreal even.
Stay tuned, I have another mass media appearance later this month…to be revealed
