We made our first milestone!

General

When I first started this blog with the other Life Coaches, my first major financial goal was to make enough money off the ads to be able to pay for hosting costs. While providing value for ourselves and others, I wanted the site to be self-sustaining at the very least (none of us get paid to do this blog).

I’m very proud to announce today, that combined with our sister site Louis Cars, we’ve hit that target! Yaaaaay!

While I can’t reveal the exact amount of our earnings due to the Google Adsense terms and conditions, I can say that it’s enough to cover 1 whole year of hosting from my favorite webhost Site5 :)

Another amazing thing I found while looking through our stats (I haven’t done that for a while oops), is that while we started out ok in terms of visitors, averaging 70 to 80 hits a day, in the month of Oct, traffic started picking up steadily, and today we are averaging 200 hits a day! EEK!

I know that’s not a huge number compared to the bigger hitters out there but…EEK! That’s close to a 300% increase in 3 months! Eek! I’m positively giddy with the growth.

This is wonderful.

A special thanks to Brenda, Paiboon, Pete, Yezhong, Louis and all of our readers who’ve helped me make this possible. I am beaming a big smile of success all the way to the bank :D

    It’s about time, guys…

So next, better start driving traffic more regularly. Traffic Marksmanship Training is 13th and 14th February. Make it a point to be there, especially “you-who-are-not-attached-and-therefore-do-not-need-to-celebrate-Valentine’s-Day”.

Congratulations, time to move to the next level!
